This event marks our second member event at this picturesque venue, following the successful event held in May 2023 on the completion of stage one, the pump station upgrade.
At this event, Brad Pavlinovich, the Golf Course Superintendent, and Rick Charles from Western Irrigation will deliver presentations regarding the successful completion of stage two: the replacement of the irrigation system for the initial 18 holes.
As with any infrastructure, the irrigation system at Vines Resort Golf Course has a finite service life. After over 30 years of operation, it required replacement due to frequent repairs and ongoing maintenance. This event provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the challenges and solutions associated with this vital upgrade.
Nestled in the Swan Valley and established in 1989, The Vines Resort Golf Course boasts 36 holes, a driving range, synthetic turf mini-golf, resort accommodations, and captivating landscaped gardens. Covering 100 hectares, including 4 hectares of bent grass greens and 220 sand bunkers, the course has been a hub for prestigious golf tournaments like the Heineken Classic, Johnnie Walker Classic, and Lexus Cup. Additionally, it continues to host a plethora of functions, corporate events, and member gatherings.
